Our Forefathers feared a consolidated government would swallow up the states and subvert the liberties of the people. Today, we find our Forefathers deepest fears have come to fruition. The United States centralized government has grossly overstepped what the Constitution and its Amendments put in place as a means of restraint of power.

Antifederalists are not opposed to a federal system of government – indeed, we claim to be the true Federalists – but we believe the Constitution gives too much power to the national authority and leaves too little to the states.

We are defenders of a more genuine vision of self-government that was embodied in the early state constitutions drafted after independence as well as in the struggle for independence itself.

We view our current Federal government as nothing less than a betrayal of the principles of 1776. 

When the government exceeds the boundaries set in place by the people, it is the mission of the people to abolish such government, and begin anew.
